Well known to Cliff College, and one of our own Children’s Ministry alumni, Jennie originally trained as a nurse and then later studied Applied Theology in Family, Youth and Community work. Over the last 20 years Jennie has actively served as a trainer and mentor in pastoral care ministry and within children’s and youth work. Professionally, she has experience of working alongside NHS workers, foodbanks, parish nursing, health and wellbeing projects and in wholeness and healing ministry. Currently, Jennie is working part-time as a schools’ worker and chaplain in the town of Grantham, supporting schools with collective worship, lunchtime groups and RE lessons. She is also in training to become a Local Preacher within the Methodist Church.
Jennie is a course leader on our Short Course programme, heading up the Certificate in Pastoral Care and the 'Introduction to Pastoral Care' training day.
