Erika joined Cliff College in 2023 and lectures in the areas of Church History and Christian Formation. She is especially interested in early Methodist history, worship, spirituality and intercultural community. Born into a Thai-American family in Kansas, Erika has since studied in the Czech Republic, Connecticut, Georgia (USA) and Massachusetts before arriving in Switzerland where she currently resides with her husband and daughter.
Erika is an ordained United Methodist deacon and co-founder of the
Village Mosaïque United Methodist Church in Lausanne, Switzerland. She is
Academic Coordinator of the Methodist e-Academy, which offers online courses to
European Methodist pastoral candidates who do not have access to a Methodist
theological seminary in their country. Erika serves her European region
by teaching and training future clergy and lay leaders in English and French.
