Dr Ali Mackenzie

Ali wears two hats here at Cliff - she is the Student Welfare Manager, and also a member of faculty. Ali enjoys teaching in various areas, and is particularly passionate about Christian spirituality, personal development and pastoral care. In her role with the Welfare Team, she is here to listen to any welfare needs or concerns that students may have, whatever course they are on. Ali offers a safe, confidential space where any student can go if they feel worried or need someone to talk to.

When Ali is not here at Cliff she can be found in Buxton, where she counsels clients in a psychodynamic setting one day a week. She lives there with her husband Ed and their two lovely boys, Archie and Toby.
