As a Methodist Minister, Piers has served alongside his wife Fran in various churches, always with a focus on evangelism, new ways of expressing Christian community and renewal in worship. With a particular concern for children and young people, Piers spent the last seven years working for Scripture Union as an evangelist and with responsibilities for seeing mission strategy develop nationally. As undergraduate tutor, he teaches both on the full time programme, and also the part time programme with the Children’s Evangelism and Nurture course and the Youth Mission & Ministry course. He has a passion for people, for discipleship and for discovering Christ in community.
