An Irish Methodist minister, Stephen joined the Cliff College Postgraduate Department in 2005. His previous experience includes pastoral ministry in Ireland, missionary service in Sri Lanka and, latterly, university chaplaincy in Dublin. His research and publishing interests are primarily in the area of mission and inter-faith understanding. Stephen is married to Marlene and they have two daughters.
