Part Time Diplomas

Cliff College currently offers four undergraduate University of Manchester Higher Education diploma courses specially adapted for those engaged in vocational ministry among children, young people, older people and those working in the creative arts.

All courses are offered through five part-time intensive week-long (MondayFriday) study blocks spaced out across the two years of the programme, The Children, Youth and Third Age Mission and Ministry courses are designed to work as in-service training for both voluntary and paid workers with children, young people and older third & fourth age people. The Creative Arts Mission and Ministry course is designed to support those involved or interested in using a wide variety of creative arts in the life of the Church and beyond. The Partnerships with Scripture Union, Youth for Christ, Church Pastoral Aid Society, Urban Saints and Methodist Homes for the Aged all contribute to the students' training and experience, and we are looking for further partnerships to support the new Creative Arts course.

Part Time Degree

The part-time BA (Hons) in Mission and Ministry course is especially adapted for those engaged in vocational ministry among children, young people and older people, as well as those from the creative arts field, and entry to the BA is via any of the four diplomas in Children Mission and Ministry, Youth Mission and Ministry, Third Age Mission and Ministry or Creative Arts Mission and Ministry.

As with the vocational diplomas, the BA (Hons) programme is offered as a part-time course of study via five intensive week-long (MondayFriday) study blocks over two years, designed to work as in-service training for both voluntary and paid children's and youth workers, and will in the future incorporate focused training for those working in third and fourth age ministry as well as those drawn from the field of the creative arts. Partnerships with Scripture Union, Youth for Christ, Church Pastoral Aid Society, Urban Saints and Methodist Homes for the Aged  all contribute to the students' training and experience, and we are looking for further partnerships to support the new Creative Arts course.
