i-Serve: The new gap year programme
Looking for a year that will change everything?
A brand new programme starts in September 2012 which will give an opportunity for people to:
- live as part of a dynamic Christian community
- study six short Cliff College courses
- spend 10-12 weeks working in exciting ministry situations around the country
Working with the Eden Network, Festive, Youth for Christ, Share Jesus International, dare2engage, Scripture Union, Adventure Plus, Swan Bank Mission, Orison, Urban Saints and XLP, iServe students will work with children, youth and adults, and gain valuable experience for their CV and their future discernment of what God may lead them into.
The short courses are:
- Christian Mentoring
- Training the Trainer
- Summer School (Bible, Mission or Greek options)
- Christian Life and Mission
- Pastoral Care (information available soon)
- Conflict Resolution (information available soon)
All courses will be taught by Cliff College staff, and will explore what the Bible says about these key subjects. Other input during the year will be tailor made for iServe students, and will help prepare you for a life of mission and ministry - and give you real advantages when applying for Christian work in the future, or in preparing for a further course at Cliff College!
