Children's and Youth Programme Leader

Ian acts as the Programme Leader for our developing stream of part-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses in children's and youth work. He is the Course Director for the diploma courses in Children's Evangelism and Nurture, run in partnership with Scripture Union, and in Youth, Mission and Ministry, as well as the BA (Hons) in Children's and Youth Ministry (see Part Time courses). He also has input into the new MA units in Children and Youth, and is currently exploring the development of a part-time undergraduate course in Third Age Ministry. He has special interests in social justice, Christian leadership, spirituality and discipleship, as well as exploring the emerging thinking around child theology.

In the other half of his life, and supported by Cliff College, Ian acts as the Development Co-ordinator for Highway Projects, a Christian charity offering short-term mission opportunities for young adults in the Middle East.
